 La Rambla 

 ‘Inspired souls that wander lost through the rambling pathways that all lead to La Rambla’. 

 Find joy in the memories of journeys and travelling to unknown exotic destinations. With the Romantic ideals of the lost Arte of adventure. Where every lane way is filled with exotic beauty from the ground up, each pathway is encompassed by buildings on each side that reach up to the sky and beyond, blocking light but adding so much more, the over hanging balconies are framed with ornate features and blooming flowers, catalonia tiled details, to the sounds of distant markets, art galleries where priceless masterpieces hang, gaudi detailed sculptures and coins in fountains to the smells and trying to read the Spanish menus of all the local foods and delicacies , to the adventurous minds that wander through the cobble stone streets and wonder what is behind every pulled down graffitied shutter door during an afternoon siesta. 

 Although we aren’t travelling and being inspired by journeys to new and vibrant places at the moment our dreams to return to lives filled with adventure are overpowering.

We first designed this collection La Rambla for journeys, for travellers and for wandering souls and let’s hope it’s not too long before we can take these idealised journeys again. The inspiration came from walking, strolling and ambling through the cobble Gothic stone lane ways and alleyways of the Gothic quarter of Barcelona and the excitement and mystery that a foreign city brings .. the unknown adventure of what lies awaiting around each and every corner. 

 Our La Rambla print itself is of a scarf design like origin .. but we liken the motifs to the cobblestone alleyways, the tiled entrances, leading doorways and over hanging balconies in the gothic quarter of Barcelona. Each corner and each angles motif, beckoning you to stroll down and explore and be inspired with us on our imagery journeys to exotic destinations. 

La Rambla is our new Bohemian print that offers curved sculptured styling in a vibrant nature. This collection has a variety of different colours in the patchwork design with copper, sapphire, yellow, deep blue, and a light baby pink being the stand outs. 

This boho inspired print is on our favourite buttery soft Nylon, Elastane fabrication. Our Artesands customers will know the soft touch, high stretch swim fabric that we are referring to. Once you’ve felt it in your hand, it will be impossible to buy any other swimsuit!

Delacroix Family Shape 

Our best-selling shape Delacroix is our main silhouette in our La Rambla collection. This is available in our One Piece, and Tankini Top that matches back with our Cezanne High Waist High Leg Swim Pant.  

Effortless elegance in a timeless and classic, meet Artesands Delacroix plus size swimsuit. This classic swim costume has multifit cups that are best fitted a D cup, E cup, G cup bust, cross front design feature with front ruching and full body power mesh.

Hayes Family Shape 

Have curves? We have you covered in our Hayes Artesands plus size one piece. Perfectly fitting D cup or DD cup with an underwire for support and comfort. This curve fit plus size one piece has 360 degree powermesh for body sculpting confidence. Hayes has a cross over from the bust with a full body wrap while still having the supportive features internally. This wrap over than has a faux tie on the side that can be styled into a bow or left as a knot for a longer length or tie. Like all of our one pieces Hayes has wide straps with adjustable sliders so you are able to tailor your own fit to your body shape.  

We also have our Hayes high waist swim pant available in our boho La Rambla print design. This swim pant has a functional side tie design feature that can be modified by the wearer to support where required and enhance where desired. It has full body powermesh for 360 degree support, body contouring and shape forming. The tie on this pant falls softly in our soft touch nylon, elastane fabrication while still having the high stretch and high-quality features. 

Botticelli Bandeau One Piece

Our Botticelli Bandeau one piece in Sapphire La Rambla collection is one of our favorite young shape silhouettes. Be sculptured by Artesands Botticelli Bandeau one piece swimsuit to fit your curves. This classic swim costume has soft foam D/DD cups, twist front design feature with front ruching and full body powermesh for body sculpting confidence.

Curve Fit and Plus Size Bikini Tops

Our latest Gaudi-boho inspired print is available in our new shape Chagall. Chagall is available in both a bikini top and midriff bikini top for a little more coverage. Chagall bikini top is a multifit style designed to fit an A cup, B cup, C cup and up to a D cup bust with removable soft cups that can be easily taken out for the wearers comfort. This bikini top also has powermesh back wings for sculpting under the arm all the way through to the back clip. This design also has a cute little faux tie at the center front between the bust, this can be tied tight like the image or a little looser if you want a bow effect.  

The Chagall midriff bikini top has the same featured as the bikini top with an added flounce peplum to the design. This soft flounce flows under the bust and around the back of the bikini top. Depending on your body length when this is paired back with our high waist curve fit swim pant it can look like a one piece swimsuit. Like all of our bikini tops both of our Chagall tops have adjustable wide shoulder straps that can easily be lengthened or shortened to customize the fit for each and every wearer. 

The colours of La Rambla

One of the best things about our La Rambla print is that there are many different colours throughout this print. This is almost like a patchwork design with blocks of sapphire blue being the biggest stand out colour. Another big solid patch of colour is the mustard background that hold the soft blue floral design, these flowers are quite soft and dainty. There are also many paisley designs throughout the print linking each solid block of colour and floral design into each other much link rambling pathways that all lead to La Rambla.

Finding your perfect Artesands Curve Size

We are trying to make finding your Artesands size as easy and simple as possible for you! Have you seen our guide on how to measure your body blog? 

The blog above goes into great detail on the areas you should measure and what to do if the measurements aren’t the same size for you top and bottom, this is very common so we have tried to make it simple for you to still have a matching set of your swimwear costume so you can have the latest prints matching on the beach. 

Understanding the Plus Symbol

If you already own an Artesands curve fit plus size swimsuit you will notice all of our sizes on the garment tag have a little + symbol. This plus symbol symbolises ‘plus a little bit more’. As we design all of our swimwear on an Australian size 18 model this means we have allocated for more fabric and fitting to be allocated across the body, we know as well as anyone that when you go up a size its in all different areas of the body.
