Boobs are often a point of insecurity for many women, and whilst we understand this completely, we want to empower all women to be proud of their boobs no matter their shape, appearance or size. So, in honour of all different kinds of boobs around the world, we wanted to add a little fun to your Friday with this blog. 

101 Names For Boobs

Boobs have many names that differ around the world, from city to city and coast to coast. We love hearing all the different iterations and variations of the word boobs and we hope you do too. We have compiled a comprehensive list of 101 names for boobs and we want to share this with you. We have included our favourite funny, literal, and downright outrageous names in this list and we hope that you can have a laugh along with us. So, let’s get to it!

• Giotto is a full support underwire style that fits a cup range of D, DD and E cups. This shape has contemporary contrasting panels that are lined with powermesh to truly enhance your shape.

Shapes Of Boobs

Now that we’ve learned the many ways we can refer to our boobs, we should take a look into the many wonderful shapes they can take. There are 9 main shapes our boobs can form into, and these include: 

Round 

Round breasts are typically fully circular and have even weight distribution on the top and bottom of the boob. These types of boobs don’t typically need too much support as they do a great job supporting themselves! This means that there is usually no need for super structured support and people with round boobs are free to explore wire-free styles. 

Our Delacroix, Botticelli and Chagall styles may be suited to you! 

Asymmetric 

Asymmetric boobs are among the most common shape for people to develop. These breasts typically do not match exactly in size, shape, volume, or position on your chest. And these differences between your breasts may be very subtle or more noticeable (both of which are totally ok!). 

Depending on the asymmetry, utilising support that evens out your boobs (perhaps with padding or inserts) may be desired! 

Our styles with removable multifit cups and padding may be suited to you! For example, our Chagall, Fuseli, Magritte may be suited to you depending on cup size.  

Bell 

Bell shaped breasts are usually fuller at the bottom and slender at the top (hence the name!). 

These boobs should avoid balconette-like styles of tops as they may cause some spillage. Other than that, a wide variety of tops suit bell-shaped breasts depending on the level of support required! 

Our styles Delacroix, Fuseli and Hayes may be suited to you! 

Athletic 

Athletic boobs tend to have more muscle than breast tissue. This can make them appear wider on the chest and may cause there to be less volume at the top of the breast. This means that gaping cups can become an issue. 

For this reason, tops with removable cups and a thicker band at the under-bust can feel super comfortable and supportive. 

Our Vermeer, Kahlo and Degas styles may be suitable! 

East West 

East West breasts usually point away from the centre of the chest, either in their shape, nipple placement, or both! This can be subtle or more noticeable (which is again, totally ok either way!). 

For optimal support and comfort, a top that helps smooth out your chest and draws your boobs in to the centre may be desired. 

Our Botticelli, Degas and Mondrian shape may be suitable here depending on cup size! 

Side Set 

Not to be confused with East West boobs, side set shaped breasts are typically fuller with a wide space between them and nipples that face forward. 

A supportive style that draws your bust inward may be desired! 

Our Goya, Cezanne and Degas shape may be suitable here depending on cup size! 

Tear Drop 

Tear Drop shaped breasts are similar to Bell shaped boobs but tend to be more round at the bottom and slightly less full at the top. 

Tear Drop boobs may experience some cup-gaping on certain styles but are usually suited to most tops. 

Our Delacroix, Cezanne and Hayes styles may suit you! 

Slender 

Slender breasts are typically on the ‘thinner’ side, meaning that they do not take up your whole chest. They are also usually longer than they are wide. With this breast shape, your nipples may also point slightly downward, and you may wear a smaller cup size. 

Slender breasts do not usually need very supportive styles, so wire-free tops are a great option. 

Our Chagall, Delacroix and Klee styles may be suitable! 

Relaxed 

Last but not least, the Relaxed boob shape appear as the name suggests – relaxed! These boobs have lax tissue and usually have nipples that point downward. 

Relaxed boobs typically suit something with underwire support to give your friends a little lift if desired. 

Hayes, Raphael and Cezanne may be suitable depending on cup size!
