International Women's Day is celebrated on March 8th every year to recognize the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women and to promote gender equality around the world. It is a day to celebrate the progress that has been made towards gender equality while acknowledging that there is still much work to be done. International Women's Day is an opportunity to raise awareness of the challenges that women face, such as gender-based violence, unequal pay, and limited access to education and healthcare. It is a day to honour the contributions of women to society and to call for continued efforts to empower and uplift women everywhere.
