We very recently introduced you to our new flounce midriff bikini named Chagall. Our ‘Have you met Chagall’ blog was based around one of our top selling mix and match stories, A’Pois and L’Atelier. I am very excited to tell you, SHE IS BACK! To make this blog even more exciting, Chagall is also now available in our regular bikini top (if frills and flounces are not your thing!) Chagall is our new flowy, flounce shape. It is available in a bikini top, midriff bikini and a one piece coming soon. This is a multifit cup style designed to fit an A-D cup size with powermesh, soft removable cups and a flounce peplum on our midriff.
You might remember from the original blog, Chagall is our very first bikini top that caters to an A cup, B cup and C cup bust size. Our Chagall style is an underwire free multifit cup bust support for extreme comfort. This style also has removable cups that can be slipped out on the corner of the side, this is purely up to the wearer’s personal preference. I know myself, these removable pads come out before I even wear the swimsuit, my underwear drawer is full of them! This style also has a cute little faux tie at the bust point for extra detail.

Where did the name ‘Chagall’ come from?
If you have followed our brand as we grow you will have noticed and read the fact that we name our silhouettes after famous artists, hence the name ‘Artesands’. This silhouette shape was named after Marc Chagall who was a Russian-French Artist prevalent in the cubism and expressionism movement in the early 1900’s. In the 1950’s famous artist Pablo Picasso remarked “When Matisse dies, Chagall will be the only painter left who understands what colour really is”. He painted in a number of different mediums and worked on beautiful deep, rich blues in stained glass windows.
La Rambla
Our new story La Rambla offers the Chagall bikini top as well as the Chagall midriff bikini if you want a little bit of a flounce!
La Rambla was designed in a vibrant nature that takes on sculptured styling from the bohemian inspirations.

La Rambla has a variety of different colours in the patchwork design with copper, sapphire, yellow, deep blue, and a light pink being the stand outs. This boho inspired print is on our favourite buttery soft Nylon, Elastane fabrication. Our Artesands customers will know the soft touch, high stretch swim fabric that we are referring to. Once you have felt it in your hand, it will be impossible to buy any other swimsuit!
Chagall Flounce Midriff Bikini Top
Artesands fits your curves. Chagall is our beautiful flowy, flounce midriff bikini top. This curve fit and plus size bikini top is designed to fit a A cup, B cup, C cup, through to a D cup, with soft removable cups. This bikini top has a mock knot tie detail at the centre front with a flounce over the underbust. Our Chagall curve fit and plus size one piece has 360 degree powermesh back wings that go through to a strong back clip.
Fits cup sizes A - D Cup
Our Chagall midriff bikini top is designed to fit an A cup, B cup, C cup, all the way through to a D cup bust. This is our smallest bust fitting design.
Removable soft foam cups
Our Chagall curve fit and plus size midriff bikini top has soft removable pads. These foam cups can be removed and put back in place easily to suit the wearers comfort. I know these are the first things that come out of a swimsuit or a crop top when I purchase one, I have a pile of them floating around my underwear draw that will most probably stay there a lifetime!
Faux knot tie front
Our Chagall midriff bikini top has a cute little faux knot at the centre of this bikini top. This little tie front is similar to the one that we have on our best selling Cezanne range, it is a cut little feature just to add that little bit more to the swimsuit.
Back wing powermesh lining
All of our lining on our Chagall bikini tops have powermesh in the back wings. Like all of our bikini tops this is to flatten the under arm and upper back area and avoid any uncomfortable digging in.
Soft touch, high stretch swim fabric
All of our fabrications are the an amazing soft touch fabrication with high stretch for support and comfort. If you have bought an Artesands swimsuit before you will know this handfeel is an amazing buttery soft nylon that honestly, just feels like quality.
Strong Back Clip
Our Chagall midriff bikini top has a solid plastic back clip to give the curve fit swimsuit extra support. This secures the bikini top on the bust and gives extra support. Like all of our Artesands ranges we have this back clip in a colour that goes back to compliment the print, it’s all really about those little things.
Adjustable wide shoulder straps for extra comfort and support
We make sure we use thick straps with strong rings and sliders to avoid any breaking or rubbing, the wide straps sit flush on the shoulder without the discomfort of digging in. This is a given with any of our curve fit and plus size swimsuits, because why would you want to wear a swimsuit that isn’t comfortable?

Our Chagall bikini top has all of the same internal features as our Chagall midriff bikini top, the only difference is it has the flounce removed so is a standard bikini top, instead of boring you with all of the same information, below are the dots points of each feature.

Depending on the length of your torso (body measurement) the Midriff bikini top could even meet the top of our high waist swim pants. This can make the bikini top look more like a tankini in coverage however it is still a very young and floaty shape. See below in the image of this set on India, you can only just see a little bit of her stomach. This is perfect for our curvy babes that like a little bit more coverage and fit in the A cup, B cup, C cup range.

Artesands Fits Your Curves. Our Artesands curve fit Cezanne high waist, high leg swim pant perfectly fit your curves. This curve fit and plus size swim pant has 360 degree powermesh lining and ruching along the front panel with moderate bottom coverage.
Full body powermesh lining
All of our lining on our Cezanne swimsuits is 360 degree powermesh. This allows you to be supported where required and enhance the areas that you desire.
Soft touch, high stretch swim fabric
All of our fabrications are the an amazing soft touch fabrication with high stretch for support and comfort. This is made from the exact same fabric as our bikini top to allow for the perfect match!
High Waist, High Leg Swim Pant
Our Cezanne smooth line swim pant is a high waist design. This swim pant is designed to fit under a tankini top or with a bikini top to make the perfect set.

Understanding the + Symbol
If you already own an Artesands curve fit plus size swimsuit you will notice all of our sizes on the garment tag have a little + symbol. This plus symbol symbolises ‘plus a little bit more’. As we design all of our swimwear on an Australian size 18 model this means we have allocated for more fabric and fitting to be allocated across the body, we know as well as anyone that when you go up a size its in all different areas of the body.
